I was invited as a photographer to a @eesticorvetteklubi race track day at Raassilla RX. As soon as I have an invitation I already had some ideas for photos including rolling photos of the following cars from the back of the running car trunk and group photos of the whole club cars. And as we all live in Estonia, 90% of the race track day was raining hard. So rolling photos while club cars were moving from Tallinn to Raassilla that I wanted to take were quite hard, while my girlfriend drive 120kh/h I was trying to make photos from open passenger window and rain to cheek is feeling different under the speed like this (: . When we arrive to track, first thing was karting, and rain makes it better for a photography! But while I was changing lenses, water drops inside matrix, so on all the photos I have big spots (that lately was successfully removed in Lightroom), and my viewfinder starts sweeting, so actually at 1/3 of the day I haven’t seen almost nothing in my viewfinder. And when it came to a rolling shoots from the trunk of my car the situation hasn’t change, the rain was hard, we were moving on track with like 40km/h, the water from road and tires was splash on my lens but, somehow, using my third eye, or fifth sense, I manage to have some good shots! (:
When I came home I disassembled camera to a parts, dry it, and assemble it back with a new seal.
